We have one more step before we have the final ballot for the November election. There will be a run-off elections for the Secretary of State and for Houston County Board of Education.
Randall P. Hinson and incumbent Helen Hughes will face off in a runoff election for the Houston County Board of Education Post 5 and Gail Buckner (GFDW Board member) faces Georganna Sinkfield from Atlanta.
Advance voting is available in Perry at the Old Courthouse and at the County Annex on Carl Vinson from August 2 to August 6 from 8 – 5 pm. Call your Democratic neighbors and volunteer to take them to the polls. The election date for the run-off election is August 10.
